NBTBA is a membership-based professional education and advisory community providing general educational content related to business, legal, tax, financial, insurance, succession, and exit planning topics. Services may include live and recorded events, courses, workshops, downloadable resources, templates, case studies, discussion forums, and member directories.

NBTBA does not provide individualized advice, professional services, or recommendations of any kind.

Membership & Access Rules

Membership access is granted on an individual basis unless otherwise stated. Credentials may not be shared. NBTBA reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate membership at its sole discretion.

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity occurring under their account.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

Media Release & Recording Consent

NBTBA may photograph, record audio, and record video at in-person and virtual events. By attending or participating in any NBTBA event, you grant NBTBA the irrevocable right to record, use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display your likeness, voice, name, and statements in any media now known or later developed for educational, marketing, promotional, archival, and business purposes.

This grant is worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, and irrevocable. No compensation is owed. NBTBA is not required to remove content once published.

You acknowledge there is no expectation of privacy at NBTBA events.

User-Generated Content & License

Members may upload content including photos, videos, logos, and branding materials. You retain ownership of your content but grant NBTBA a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and modify such content for operational, marketing, educational, and branding purposes.

You represent that you own or have permission to upload such content and agree to indemnify NBTBA against claims arising from your content.

Intellectual Property Rights

All NBTBA content, trademarks, logos, designs, and materials are owned by or licensed to NBTBA and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

Event Participation Disclaimer

Participation in NBTBA events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to travel, physical activity, technology failures, and interactions with others. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. NBTBA reserves the right to change pricing, offerings, or access at any time.

Termination or Suspension of Access

NBTBA may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for any conduct deemed harmful, disruptive, or inconsistent with NBTBA’s mission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NBTBA shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, services, or content.

Indemnification
